Frank Ferragine
Weather Specialist, Breakfast Television
Gardening Specialist, CityNews
Honourary Chair, BWG Leisure Centre Campaign
Frank began his television career working for A-Channel Toronto/Barrie (formerly The New VR) in 1995 giving gardening tips to viewers. From there, he went on to produce and host "Diggin' It" on CH before moving back to A-Channel as host of "GrowTV." He later became their Weekend Weather Specialist as well as a General Assignment Reporter before taking a leave from the station in 2002 to oversee his family gardening business. Frank continued to do gardening segments for "BT-BreakfastTelevision" during his leave before coming back full time in 2005.
Frank originally wanted to be a lawyer but then realized plants don't talk back!
As a child, his family home was attached to a greenhouse and his family grew vegetables in the Holland and Cookstown Marsh. When your life evolves around farming and flowers, Mother Nature is truly your ruler and the weather of the day makes or breaks you. Because of this, Frank tries to make the best of the weather each and every day. To Frank, rain can also equal liquid sunshine for your lawn!
In 2000, Frank was voted by Landscape Ontario as Ontario's Gardening Broadcaster of the year. He has also been heavily involved in promoting the Horticultural industry in Ontario and has assisted with the Beautification of Toronto, by sitting on the Board of Directors for Toronto's Flower and Garden Trade Show, "Canada Blooms."
"In 1998 I lost my younger brother Tony to Cancer. He was not only my brother but my best friend. After going through this, let's just say I live for 2 each day and I don't sweat the small stuff!"

Contact Kenn
Kenn Voss is the Owner-operator of the Canadian Tire Associate Store in Bradford. He and his wife Cindy moved to the area two years ago from Goderich, Ontario and enjoy the boom and bustle of a growing community like Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Kenn was born and raised in Toronto’s east end and was educated at Brock University and the University of Toronto. He began his professional life with Bell Canada in 1974 and enjoyed a quick-paced, successful career with Bell in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal until taking a very early retirement in 1995 to pursue a lifelong dream of owning his own business. The dream came true when Kenn and Cindy bought their first Canadian Tire store in Meaford, Ontario in 1996. Leaving their rural home in Zephyr, Ontario behind they moved to the Georgian Triangle and then on to Calgary, Goderich, and now back home to Bradford West Gwillimbury, where they plan to stay. Kenn is a great believer in giving back to the community and supports many local charities, sports teams, and local events.
In his “spare time” Kenn served his country as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve. Since receiving his Commission in 1974, Kenn has served with The Lincoln and Welland Regiment in St. Catharines, The Governor General’s Foot Guards in Ottawa and as the commanding officer of The Royal Regiment of Canada in Toronto. His military duties have taken him to places like Germany, England and across Canada. Kenn is presently the Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royals stationed at Fort York Armoury. Kenn is a past director of the Royal Canadian Military Institute, the Canadian Tire Dealers Association, and a Fellow of Calumet College, York University.
Kenn also enjoys cabinet making, working on his old cars and the odd frustrating game of golf.
